2025 Updates

It has been awhile since I created a post.

• 2024 - Cielo & Jalaal left us due to longer term lameness from Laminitis. While Cielo was able to be ridden for a couple of years, the disease continued to get worse. Neither horse was comfortable at the end and we had to take their quality of life into consideration.

• Summer 2024 - Duende de Marengo joined us. He is a very well bred PRE now gelded for the future.

• 2025 - Oreo has been out showing at Training level and some first level classes. We qualified for the regional adult amateur competition and the CDS National championships at Training level. He went to a month long bootcamp with my current trainer to sort out his negative mindset that has been holding us back. Since then he has been excelling in his work. We are now fully training at first and second level at home. In 2026 we are planning to show at 1st and 2nd level while his training continues. He still has training days that are to be forgotten but there are more highlights than lows now.

• 2025 - June - we had 11 lambs arrive and 9 of them are EWE lambs !! We have never had so many ewe lambs on the farm so this was a huge surprise !!

• 2025 - We added chickens and 2 Swedish ducks to the farm. The chickens are from various flocks. We have golden laced Wyandotte, Black Wyandotte, a Booted Bantam and Dominique's. These are all egg layers. Currently we are getting about 2 eggs per day as the rest of the flock are growing up.
